Welsh Coastal Path

Specular views from the Wales Coast Path just a short walk from the house. You can join the coastal path from Rhoslefain to walk towards either Llwyngwril and Fairbourne or Tywyn and Aberdyfi.

There are markings of where the path goes however we recommend using the Wales Coast Path map as there can be parts that are not clear.

To find the map follow the link to the Wales Coast Path Interactive Map and in the ‘Find a place’ box type Rhoslefain. The path is highlighted in purple.

About The Welsh Coastal Path

The Wales Coast Path is one of the world’s great long-distance walking routes, stretching an incredible 870 miles (1,400 km) along the entire Welsh coastline. Opened in 2012, it was the first path in the world to follow the entire national coast, from Chester in the north to Chepstow in the south.

This spectacular trail takes you through:

  • Dramatic cliffs and sandy beaches

  • Bustling seaside towns and peaceful coves

  • Historic castles, lighthouses, and ancient ruins

  • Wildlife-rich estuaries and rugged headlands

Whether you're up for a short walk or a long-distance challenge, the Wales Coast Path offers something for everyone — walkers, cyclists, nature lovers, and photographers alike.
