Fairbourne Beach
A long beach which we enjoy as it has incredible sunset views overlooking the sea, with the Mawddach Estuary and mountains behind. It is a perfect beach to spend the day with family and friends soaking in the sunshine.
Dogs are allowed further up the beach between 1st April and 30th September so make sure to look out for signs. There is also a charming 12¼‑inch narrow-gauge miniature steam railway that runs about 2 miles from the village along the beach to Penrhyn Point, connecting with a passenger ferry which takes you to Barmouth at the opposite side of the estuary.
